Yakupov scores with 10 seconds left, a KHL fight knockout, and more

Here's your tasty KHL goodness for the day!...Well that sounded weird...hm...

Well anyway - enjoy! 

Nail Yakupov scores the game-winner with just 10 seconds left in regulation.

Alex Radulov remains the KHL leading scorer as his team snipes on Mikael Telqvist (remember him?) Lubomir Visnovsky and Miroslav Satan score, too.

Evgeny Kuznetsov (you know, the Caps super prospect that Canadians love to hate at the World Juniors) scores to help Traktor over Riga.

Some action from Monday, Ilya Kovalchuk continues to beast the KHL with 20 points in 11 games. Yes, 11 points in 20 games. He's also making Blues prospect Vladimir Tarasenko look like the second coming of Sidney Crosby. Ok, that's a little over the top, but the kid is actually disgusting.

New York Islanders goon takes on nasty John Mirasty in a KHL slobberknocker. Mirasty gets KO'd, and yes, I added slow-mo to the pack.

Does anyone one besides me notice that Yakupov would appear to be the best rookie in the KHL and Justin Schultz would appear to be the best rookie in the AHL. I know this is sacreligous, but the Oilers have a scary amount of high end talent coming up. How hard is it going to be to shut that team down once they are firing on all cylinders?

Yes, there are a number of high-end players in the system right now. Things would appear to be heading in the right direction (if you are an Oilers' fan). But you know what they say about counting chickens before they've hatched.

At the very least it should make for some entertaining hockey when the Oilers and Flames play again.

They will play again, right?
